Evolution of the Idea

Get You Hip Network runs a service that is dedicated to providing its users with the newest information around. Whether it is fashion, sporting, music, or current events Get You Hip Network will be the user's fastest and most informative resource. Get You Hip Network is available via website and through applications formatted specifically for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7, and Blackberry Mobile.

Get You Hip Network, a social network created to provide users with the most recent information to date on any subject, was created to compete against and eventually do better than the most popular networks out today. The network was thought of in a response to the lack of a service like it out. The innovative ideas of linking users and the information they share in the way the network does will prove to change the way people social network all over the world.

Instead of networking to "legally" find out about other people's personal business, this network was created solely to influence the sharing of information and knowledge between people on subjects other than what happens in a user's personal life. The network hopes to promote the sharing of information by allowing users to interact with each other via cloud computing and through mobile apps that can support the interactions between other mobile devices.

With privacy and security of the users and information shown being the network's first priorities, users can feel safe knowing that their information is not leaked to public search engines. This privacy will be valued by our users as it is in the best interest of the network be known as the most secure. The network will be secure for every user on it and we hope to keep that standard forever.

Some of the network's features include the "melting pot" which takes topics of interest from the user's input, and returns the most recent information and updates on those said topics. This feature is extremely innovative and it will evolve with the network. The network takes pride in this feature, as it will be the main way that users access information.

As Get You Hip Network started off as just an idea, it quickly became a very plausible project. To get started however I would need programmers to code the network's apps and website, and also skilled web designers with knowledge of cryptography. Also to get things going I would need to promote the network through other social sites like Twitter and Facebook, to let the idea be known to potential users.

Security

Get You Hip Network runs a service that is dedicated to providing its users with the newest information around. Whether it is fashion, sporting, music, or current events Get You Hip Network will be the user's fastest and most informative resource. Get You Hip Network is available via website and through applications formatted specifically for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7, and Blackberry Mobile.

Security, an important aspect to creating a strong network such as Get You Hip is something the network does not take lightly. The network will take all steps in protecting the information the users view and share as security come first and foremost. Cryptography, the practice and study of techniques for secure communication, is something the network will put much effort into. To create a strong secure network, applications of Cryptography such as secure passwords and encryption will be employed by Get You Hip Network.

Get You Hip Network should run perfectly under all firewalls, and it will protect the information the users view via encryption. Cookies will need to be allowed on the users computers however to allow for the user's passwords to be saved when they log out. The option to have your password saved will be given so that if user's are accessing the network froma public place they will not have anything to lose.

Captcha word protection, shown above, will be used when the user is logging onto the network to prevent viruses from getting into the network. The captcha words will be provided at random, and the user will be prompted to enter in the captcha after they input their password. This type of protection is easy and it requires very little of the users.

Security is not taken lightly within the network and the users will have to follow the guidelines set by the network to be allowed on it.

Operating Systems

Get You Hip Network runs a service that is dedicated to providing its users with the newest information around. Whether it is fashion, sporting, music, or current events Get You Hip Network will be the user's fastest and most informative resource. Get You Hip Network is available via website and through applications formatted specifically for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7, and Blackberry Mobile.

Get You Hip Network is available on many different types of operating systems. Whether it is run from a computer on Mac OS or Windows it is available to many computing devices. Any user with a solid internet connection should have no problems running the network on any operating system for a computer. As mobile devices are becoming more and more popular, the network is constantly making changes and updates to stay on top of the game. The network has its own server operating system, so that the virtualization discussed in previous blog posts will be permitted.

As users will be logging into the network with various operating systems and devices, the network will allow users to  customize their experience by choosing which form of the network they wish to run. For example, Mac users can choose Windows- style networking to use the network in a way that integrates with Windows and vice versa. As the features of the network reflect the world's leading operating systems, the network does not plan to see any problems within this area. Users will be allowed to access the information on the network in any way they please to make their experience as smooth as possible.

Basic specifications are required of the users however for optimal performance. Any Windows operating systems before XP and any Mac operating systems before OS X will not be able to run the network smoothly. Linux users should not meet as much problems running the network as it is open-source so users with that OS will probably already have found a suitable OS to keep up with the newest Windows or Mac OS. If Linux users have problems on the network they will have to run it from either a Windows PC or Mac as the network does not wish to support problems for systems besides Windows or Mac. This is because the percentage of Linux users is greatly outnumbered by the other popular operating systems. Hopefully the network will be able to extend its reach in full towards Linux users in the future.
